We are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate professional to fill the position of Project Lead.

 

Project Lead

(PL_3.2023)

 

The Project Lead will coordinate, organize and monitor the progress of transfer, integration of new products or any changes to current productions and products, in order to ensure their smooth integration into the factory’s production based on the specifications set by the customer.

 

Location: The position will be based at FAMAR facilities in Alimos or Avlonas.

 

Main Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

The main accountabilities / responsibilities of the Project Lead are the following:

 

  • Studies the product file of the product to be transferred and is responsible for identifying any deficiencies and collecting the elements that have not been included, so that the transfer and investment cost can then be carried out and the Business Development Manager is accordingly informed in order to shape the offer to the customer.
  • Participates in the Kick-off meeting with the customer together with the Business Development Department.
  • Designs the Project Plan that includes the execution stages and the timetable of the product transfer Project, informs and obtains approval from the stakeholders to arrive at the final schedule that is communicated to the customer, so that there is an organized transfer plan. Ensures the involvement of all necessary department managers and individuals in the transportation plan.
  • Implements the Project Plan. Cooperates with the stakeholders for clarifications and with the Technical Services Director for any problems that arise and proposes solutions to the BU Head of the involved factory to meet the schedule.
  • Determines, for the Projects he/ she manages, the new codes of finished products, semi-finished products, raw materials, suppliers and customers to be opened. Also, identifies any integrations with existing codes in collaboration with Purchasing department. Undertakes the complete management and opening process (in Excel/LSM and the uploading in sap) of all the above codes with the aim of better control of the Project, meeting the schedules as well as assisting and supporting the factories.
  • Prepares and submits a monthly report with the progress of the project work to the Technical Services Director in order to form the weekly internal report of the department.
  • Is responsible for communicating with the customer regarding the progress of the works as well as any problems that arise. Is responsible for the immediate communication and information of the factory for emergency problems that arise. Participates every 2 weeks in teleconference with the customer and everyone involved, draws up the meeting agenda, decides on actions, records the minutes and communicates them to all concerned, so that everyone is aware of the changes that have occurred in relation to the original schedule.
  • After the completion of the main phases of the project, collects information about the charges that should be made to the customer and informs the factories to proceed with the corresponding charges.
  • Is required to follow the company’s EHS rules in accordance with the company’s policy.

 

Candidate’s Profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineer, or similar
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical sector
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Problem solving skills
  • Team working, ability to operate as part of different teams and environments
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of Pharmaceutical Technology
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), use of MS project as project management tool would be considered an advantage
  • Basic financial knowledge
