Business Analyst

Responsibilities: 

• Develop a deep understanding of the business problem, design, and architecture of our client’s platform 
• Collect, analyze and document business, user, functional and non-functional requirements
• Present and communicate findings to the rest of the team
• Define initiative milestones, phases, and elements
• Support product management throughout the design and execution phases
• Understand the big picture and analyze how the software will solve a problem or meet an underlying business need
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements 
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity
• Perform weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
• Acting as a point of contact; explaining complicated methods and data to non-technical colleagues/clients

Requirements   

• Bachelor’s in Business, Science, Statistics or a related field, MBA will be considered a strong asset
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in business analysis or business consulting within a global company
• Knowledge of data analysis methods and programming language, Python, is a plus
• Experience with BI technologies will be considered as a plus
• Strong requirements analysis, modeling, and documentation skills
• Comfortable in acting as a point of contact; explaining complicated methods and data to non-technical colleagues/clients
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent client-facing, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills
