Our client is a major multinational company & leader in the sector. Our team seeks to recruit a high-calibre professional for the position of    

 Head Demand Planner

(ref. Code: HDP_1120)

 

The role:

As the holder of the role, you will have to create, develop and drive the Demand Planning service. This service is a new strategic pillar under the Supply-Chain Department that is created to better serve the company’s stores and customers. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and monitor the forecast demand team by reviewing historical sales trends, applying demand driver’s data and evaluate forecast results.
  • Analyze customer demands and contribute to more accurate stock replenishment.
  • Create, monitor and drive KPI’s to follow the efficiency of the forecasting and the product availability.
  • Drive and coordinate inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Obtain regular information from the following functions (Store Sales, Market Teams & Marketing) in order to understand the demand forecast drivers.
  • Validate the forecasted volume provided by the stores for commercial activities and engagement products, in order to ensure the availability of the products and optimize stock rotation in stores.
  • Challenge the most economical and feasible route to delivery per product with the upstream flow cost provided by the Supply Planning team.

We would like also for you to have:

  • Bachelor Degree in a business-related area. A Master degree is a plus.
  • 6-8years of relevant working experience
  • Successful and proven passive experience in a high volume environment. 
  • Resilient with the ability to effectively lead deal with and lead change
  • The proven project, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to successful completion in a fast-paced environment
