IS Infrastructure Administrator

 (ISIA_1.24)

The position holder will report to the IS Infrastructure Manager and will manage the IS Infrastructure Support Team.

 

Main Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

The IS Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitor, administer and maintain IS systems
  • Coordinate and provide guidance to the IS Infrastructure Support Team
  • Support all users in emerging IT challenges as part of the 1st and 2nd level remote and/or onsite support (Windows, Office, Outlook, Hardware, etc.) as needed
  • Perform Patch Management for Servers and Workstations
  • Set up and monitor Servers Backup
  • Handle any Infrastructure issues and provide solutions to problems
  • Suggest improvements on existing systems’ functionality in order to optimize them
  • Manage communication with suppliers
  • Prepare specifications for new requirements
  • Monitor and implement changes and enhancements
  • Plan and coordinate projects

 

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in infrastructure administration and maintenance
  • University (TEI or AEI) Degree in Computer Science
  • Fluency in the English language is a must, verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Greek, Spanish or Italian languages will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to coordinate a team and provide guidance
  • Administration knowledge of:
    • MS Windows Servers all versions
    • Active Directory 2012
    • Exchange Server 2016
    • O365 / Azure
    • MS SharePoint
    • VMware
    • SQL Server
    • McAfee EPO
    • Microsoft SCCM
    • Microsoft SCOM
  • Cisco Networking
  • Cisco Telephony (CUCM)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to deliver under strict timelines
  • High level of team spirit
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies for service management will be considered an advantage
